President Clinton launched the Clinton Climate Initiative (CCI) in August 2006 to make a difference in the fight against climate change in practical, measurable and significant ways. In its first phase, CCI is serving as the exclusive implementing partner of the C40 Large Cities Climate Leadership Group, an association of large cities around the world that have pledged to accelerate their efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. CCI is assisting partner cities to develop and implement large scale projects resulting in substantial reductions in energy use and greenhouse gas emissions.
Delta Climate and the Clinton Foundation are working together for "The Green IIT Initiative", to promote campus sustainability and green technology development in the 7 IIT campuses.
Clinton Climate Initiative has established expertise in campus sustainability implementation programs assisting universities begin the process of building retrofits across campuses world-wide. Delta Climate is working with CCI to implement their learning from their cities and universities program to create a sustainable change in the IITs.

350 is the red line for human beings, the most important number on the planet. The most recent science tells us that unless we can reduce the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere to 350 parts per million, we will cause huge and irreversible damage to the earth.
But solutions exist. All around the world, a movement is building to take on the climate crisis, to get humanity out of the danger zone and below 350. This movement is massive, it is diverse, and it is visionary. We are activists, scholars, and scientists. We are leaders in our businesses, our churches, our governments, and our schools. We are clean energy advocates, forward-thinking politicians, and fearless revolutionaries. And we are united around the world, driven to make our planet livable for all who come after us.
We are everywhere, and together we are unstoppable. Check out this animation. Why 350? 90 Seconds, 0 Words
